The Camp Committee is thrilled to welcome campers to a magical week of adventure, personal growth, and lifelong friendships! Camp Independence is one of OHF’s most cherished and impactful programs, shaping young leaders and empowering them to become extraordinary adults. Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, discovery, and community!
Camp Independence offers a transformative week-long overnight summer camp experience for campers affected by a bleeding disorder and their siblings. Nestled in the scenic landscape of Tishomingo, OK, our camp provides a safe and supportive environment where campers can enjoy the outdoors, build confidence, and make lasting memories.
For convenience, we offer bus transportation from both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas, though families are welcome to provide their own transportation as well.
At Camp Independence, we run three dynamic programs simultaneously, ensuring a meaningful and enriching experience for every camper:
Junior Camp for campers ages 8-12
Teen Camp for campers ages 13-18
